What are you feeling like for dinner tonight? McDonalds Taco Bell Yeah! Burger... good choice!

This past Saturday, I ate dinner with a friend at this trendy restaurant in Virginia-Highlands. It has a great vibe and is very inviting. Walking into the restaurant, I had no idea what it was like, until I picked up a menu! No more organic related words could have possibly been squeezed onto that recycled piece of paper. Yeah! Burger's burgers are "made in house with natural and organic ingredients and are free of antibiotics, growth hormones, synthetic pesticides and herbicides, chemical fertilizers, ammonia, and other nasty additives
".

After much deliberation, I decided on an "All-Natural Chicken Breast--a 6 oz. fire-grilled, naturally-raised, chicken breast" on a whole wheat bun, "locally made with organic flour by H&F Bread Company". The wait was worth it. The food was absolutely delicious! I will be dragging my family along with me the next time I eat there, and the next, and the next. By the way, I had a bite of my friends bison burger and was completely stunned; it was amazing. There is nothing to be afraid of, literally, so don't be afraid to try it for yourself!

I highly recommend Yeah! Burger as an option for those of you that don't want to just talk the talk about making better and healthier food choices, but that want to chew the chew :) and taste some scrumptious food in the process.

BON APPETIT!

P.S. Stay tuned... I picked up the business card of a personal chef that was posted to a bulletin board in the restaurant. I won't give anything away yet, but from what I have seen so far from her blog, I think her work will be something that would be very fun and beneficial to learn about.
